CONSTANTINE, MI (WTVB) – Quincy and Bronson were among the teams that ran at the Constantine Invitational Friday. Quincy won the boys meet with a team total of 163 points, while Bronson was fourth with 33. The Vikings won the girls meet with 142 points, while the Orioles were fourth with 98.
For the Quincy boys, Bryce Ruhl won the high jump, long jump, and the 200m dash, Ian Trall won both hurdle events, Nathan Nohr won both distance events, and Jonathan Purvis and Trey Watson went 1-2 in the shot put.
For the Bronson girls, Madelyn Thompson won the discus and took second in the shot put, Xochitl Garcia took the distance events, and Keona Salesman won the high jump.
