KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – The condition of Park Township Fire Chief Mike Frye is improving.
Frye has been in a drug induced coma following a collision in Three Rivers that claimed the life of his wife.
He has been upgraded from critical to serious at Bronson Methodist in Kalamazoo.
Investigators say both he and his wife were riding motorcycles when they were struck from behind at Broadway and U.S. 131 on May fifth.
Charges against the woman who allegedly struck them may be pending the results of blood tests to determine if she was under the influence.
