UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – An iconic piece of history in Union City is going back to its original spot.
The Union City Village Council has approved putting the dome back in its original spot at the corner of Broadway and Hammond Streets after this year’s Memorial Day Parade.
This has been a community funded project and a Dome Committee has been working under the title of “Bring Home the Dome”.
An architect is drawing up a proposed structure for the dome.
The committee will release more details once the final design and costs are known.
