COLDWATER, MI 9WTVB) – An 18-year old who was arrested January 31, 2018 for allegedly making a verbal threat against Coldwater High School and fellow students has entered a guilty plea in Branch County Circuit Court on a charge of attempt at making a terrorist threat.
Hunter Bromley is now scheduled to be sentenced July 2, 2018.
He has been held in the Branch County Jail on a $250,000 bond since his arrest by Coldwater Police.
In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors will dismiss the original count of false report or threat of terrorism.
Bromley was accused of making the threatening comment about getting a gun at a bus stop. The threat was immediately reported to the Principal at the Branch Area Careers Center and Bromley was returned to Coldwater High School. No weapons were found by police.
