COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Despite temperatures that reached into the low 80’s by 10:00 a.m., there was a good turnout at Memorial Day activities across Branch County Monday.
In Coldwater, a ceremony was held at the Four Corners Park downtown at 8:30 a.m., followed by an observance at the U.S. 12 bridge on the city’s west side to honor those lost at sea, a short ceremony at the north Oak Grove Cemetery bandstand, then the Gathering of Flags memorial at the south Oak Grove Cemetery.
Ceremonies and parades were also held in Bronson, Quincy, and Union City.
