ONSTED, MI (WTVB) – The season ended for the Quincy’ High School girl’s soccer team Wednesday night as they lost to Jonesville 3-1 in the Division Three district semifinals at Onsted.
After a scoreless first half, Quincy jumped out in front with a goal from Heather Sarles midway through the second half. But Jonesville tied the match on a penalty kick and added two more goals just a few minutes later to advance to the district finals. The Comets scored three times in the span of six minutes to avenge a pair of regular season losses to the Orioles.
Quincy ends the season with a 15-4-1 record.
