COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School class of 2018 received their diplomas in front of an overflow crowd at Cardinal Field on Sunday evening.
It was announced during the 151st annual Coldwater High School commencement that Brandon Hartman was the class of 2018 Valedictorian while Kaitlyn Colyer was the Salutatorian.
Just 24 hours after helping the boys track team win a M.H.S.A.A Division Two Lower Peninsula championship, Cole Targgart received the John Vance Award for Character and Achievement. The award is named after a 1975 Coldwater High School who was an athlete, student leader and honor student. Vance died from cancer in 1982.
This year’s class had 218 graduates.
