QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Community School’s Clay Target Team has been invited to compete at the National Meet in Mason starting on July 12th.
Representing the team will be Ashtyn Morris, Hamilton Spieth, Brady Ward, Sam Wortz, and Kyler Mauer. Alternates will be Michael Richer, and Ethan Wilson. The Quincy squad will be competing against 280 teams from across the country. In addition,
Morris has been invited to Nationals to complete individually against 1,400 other individuals from across the country.
Over the weekend, the Quincy Clay Target Team won first place in a competition and fun day at the John A. Halter Shooting Sports Center in Hillsdale. Reading, Pittsford, and Hillsdale Academy also took part in the competition.
Quincy’s team consisted of Ashtyn Morris, Hamilton Spieth, Brady Ward, Nathan White and Sam Wortz.
