COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After you had to grab for the jacket last Sunday as temperatures couldn’t make it out of the 60s, things will be much hotter for your Father’s Day.
National Weather Service forecasters are predicting a steamy weekend. Highs are expected to be 90 or above from Saturday through Monday with heat index readings in the upper 90s to near 100.
Sunday is expected to be the hottest day of the three. Your Father’s Day BBQ may have to be moved indoors to the air conditioning with a high of 95 and heat index readings in the triple digits.
The hot and sticky weather is expected to let up next Tuesday when highs are only expected to get into the low 80s.
The National Weather Service says if you have outdoor plans, be sure to stay hydrated and have a plan to stay cool.
