COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man may face deportation for alleged sex crimes.
32-year-old Javier Ramirez was arraigned in Branch County District Court Friday on charges of accosting children for immoral purposes and indecent exposure.
Ramirez was arrested following a Coldwater Police Department investigation into incidents that allegedly took place a couple of weeks ago.
Ramirez is from Mexico and documents indicate U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have placed a hold on him.
Bond was set at $25,000 during Friday’s arraignment and a probable cause hearing in Branch County District Court was scheduled for June 26th.
