QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Village of Quincy Fire Department has been forced to take one of their fire engines out of service for repairs.
The Department said in a posting on its Facebook page that Engine 10 has been placed out of service to make repairs to the fire pump and plumbing, fix engine oil leaks, fix broken emergency lighting, address overweight axle issues and to replace all ten tires.
The repairs have to be made to get the vehicle up to basic NFPA fire apparatus standards.
It’s not known how long it will take to make the repairs.
