COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After months of frustration and bad news, the heating and cooling issues at the Burnside Senior Center have taken a positive turn.
The HVAC issues have taken place following a renovation project that wrapped up in March 2017.
The biggest issue has been the transducers, which convert energy from one form to another.
Branch County Administrator Bud Norman told the Branch County Board of Commissioners during their Thursday work session that a temporary solution has apparently been found but he cautioned they have come to the finish line yet.
Another meeting between the county and contractors was scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
Carrier Corporation manufactured the HVAC units, while CARMI Design Group of Edwardsburg, Michigan provided architectural and construction management services for the project.
