CALIFORNIIA TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police are investigating a single car injury accident in Branch County that occurred early this morning in California Township.
Branch County 911 Central Dispatch said the crash happened at 2:00 a.m.in the 1000 block of Kelley Road, just north of the Indiana border.
According to troopers, the man driving the 1997 Toyota Corolla is from Fremont, Indiana. They said the driver was bleeding from the head when he walked to a nearby home and told a person living there he was in an accident.
Life Care Ambulance responded to the scene as did the Montgomery Fire Department. According to Central Dispatch, the victim was transported to Parkview Hospital in Ft. Wayne for treatment.
No name or other information about the about the crash was released by Michigan State Police.
