COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – News from the Michigan’s State Capitol will be in the focus as the Burnside Senior Center in Coldwater hosts its monthly Men’s Free Breakfast Thursday morning. The featured speaker will be 58th District State Representative Eric Leutheuser
The breakfast will be hosted by Bob Betts and is sponsored by ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital. Donations are appreciated.
Eric Leutheuser grew up in Hillsdale, where he attended the public schools and then Hillsdale College. While a college student, he spent a year in Washington, D.C. where he worked on the reflection campaign of Congressman David Stockman. He graduated with a degree in Political Economy.
For over thirty years, Leutheuser worked at Leutheuser Buick GMC, a local business with twenty employees. He became General Manager and its dealer operator in 1986. Last year, Leutheuser sold the dealership to Ken and Stacy Joswiak. He remains involved as his legislative schedule allows.
Leutheuser has been involved in the community as an officer of the Hillsdale Community Foundation, Hillsdale City Planning Commission, Economic Development Commission, and the Rotary Club of Hillsdale.
