COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Quincy man is being held on a $350,000 bond at the Branch County Jail after he was charged with six counts for his alleged involvement in child pornography.
50-year-old Dale Otis Junior was arraigned Monday in Branch County District Court after he was booked last Friday for methamphetamine possession.
The Branch County Prosecutors Office has charged him with child sexually abusive activity; distributing and promoting child sexually abusive activity and using a computer to commit a crime.
A fourth time habitual offender sentencing enhancement has also been filed.
Michigan State Police say the alleged victim in the case is a three year old girl.
Court documents indicate Otis was arrested after Michigan State Police got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children through Google.
A probable cause hearing was scheduled for next Tuesday with a preliminary exam August 7, 2018.
