COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Clerk’s office has posted on line the unofficial list of candidates and proposals that will appear on the November general election ballot.
There will be contested school board races in Bronson, Quincy and Union City.
The four Bronson School Board candidates vying for two positions are Deborah Balowski, Jon R. Britten, Brenda Kelley and Dennis L. Sikorski.
There are six candidates for four positions on the Quincy School Board. The candidates are Alan McClellan, Tim Miner, Chantal Cochrane Paxton, James Paxton, Brian M. Preston and Greg Richer.
Meanwhile, Charles Feltner, Archie B. Mears and Kyle Miller are running for two seats on the Union City School Board.
The Coldwater School Board has three positions up for election this year. Incumbents Jeffrey S. Holbrook, Ronald Lanford and Jean Milnes are all on the November ballot.
There are four candidates for four seats on the Quincy Village Council. They are Casey Bassage, Laura M. Loomis, Nick Loomis and Wendy B. Salyer.
Probate Judge Kirk Kashian is running unopposed.
Voters in the Bronson School District will be deciding a sinking fund millage proposal while Quincy Township voters will be asked to approve a millage proposal for police protection.
