CENTREVILLE, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police are investigating a traffic accident near Centreville that killed a man from Jackson County on Wednesday morning
Troopers say the 24-year-old from Brooklyn was driving an SUV and went through a stop sign at the intersection of Featherstone and Shimmel Roads.
The SUV then collided with a pickup truck which was driven by a 48-year-old man from Sturgis.
The at-fault driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was treated and released at Bronson Methodist in Kalamazoo.
No names have been released.
