COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Quincy man was given a prison sentence of between 57 months and 15 years on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court after he entered a guilty plea to a charge of second degree criminal sexual conduct involving an underaged relative.
38-year-old Jason Darrell McKenzie must also register as sex offender with the State of Michigan under terms of the plea agreement. In exchange for his guilty plea. prosecutors dismissed a first degree criminal sexual conduct charge involving a relative.
McKenzie was arrested following an investigation by the Branch County Sheriff’s Department into an incident in September 2017.
