COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Sue Nagle Help From Above Golf Ball Drop to benefit the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence will be held next weekend at the Coldwater Golf Course.
In order to avoid conflicts with other activities in the area, the event has been moved to a Sunday.
Things will get going at 3pm on August 26th with a putting contest sponsored by Southern Michigan Bank and Trust.
The golf balls will be dropped from a hot air balloon once again at around 5:30pm. The ball closest to the hole wins $1,000. Second prize is $500. The ball furthest from the hole wins $250.
Tickets for the Golf Ball Drop for those 18 and over are available at Wilbur’s Furniture, the Coldwater Golf Course, or by calling 278-SAFE. (278-7723) You need not be present to win. There will also be a raffle and 50/50 drawings.
