COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Intermediate School District Board of Education approved a motion Wednesday which allows Superintendent Kristine Jenkins to start the process of putting together a bid package for most of the building trade lots in Deerfield Meadows.
Jenkins said during last month’s BISD board meeting that the City of Coldwater is interested in buying the lots. But she suggested putting the lots on the market at fair market value. The total value of the lots have been estimated at over $130,000 or about $11,000 a lot.
The exact number of lots that would go up for bid has not been determined yet.
