COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Police are looking for a man who they say stole a woman’s car early Monday morning from the Stop N Shop liquor store at 147 West Chicago.
Police say the woman parked her 2011 Ford Escape directly in front of the entrance at about 12:20 a.m. and left the vehicle running when she entered the store.
The suspect entered the store and checked several lottery tickets before exiting. A witness saw the man enter the vehicle and leave the parking lot heading west. The witness ran into the store and notified the victim and Branch County 911 was called.
The suspect is described as a white male between 5’11 and 6’2 who has a thin to medium build with brown hair and a thin brown beard. The suspect was wearing a red shirt and black pants.
