COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Economic Growth Alliance will be sponsoring a two hour economic development summit Wednesday evening at the Browne Recreation Center Community Room starting at 5:30 p.m..
Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker told the City Council Monday night that the summit is being held in preparation for the City and County’s economic development and marketing strategy that is required by the Michigan Economic Development Commission as part of the Redevelopment Ready Communities program.
He pointed out that successful certification in the program would allow the City to remain eligible for future State funding programs and grants.
A second community economic forum that was scheduled for Thursday September 6 has been postponed to a later date.
