QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy Village Manager Eric Zuzga says the Brown Street railroad crossing will be closed starting Wednesday, September 12, 2018, and the crossing will remain closed for at least a week.
He says the Village is working with the railroad to rebuild the crossing and get new water main and fiber optic conduit under the tracks during this process.
Zuzga adds the village has been waiting for the railroad to have an opening on their schedule and they were just informed that they would like to start on Wednesday. He says, “we will move the project forward as fast as possible so as to minimize the inconvenience of the closure.”
