COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – For the second straight September, we are dealing with 90 degree weather as fall officially rolls in this weekend.
The high on Tuesday afternoon at the Branch County Memorial Airport was 91 degrees. According to the web site www.intellicast.com, that set a record high in Coldwater for September 18. The old record of 90 was set in 1906.
By Accuweather.com‘s count, it was the 14th day since May1 that the mercury in Coldwater hit 90 degrees.
The normal high in Coldwater for mid September is 71.
Cooler and more seasonal weather is expected to move in for the weekend. Fall officially arrives Saturday, September 22 at 9:54 p.m.
