COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater’s Chandler Plaza parking lot project is a couple of weeks ahead of schedule and is almost finished.
City Manager Keith Baker told the Coldwater City Council at their meeting Monday that concrete work with the exception of the dumpster enclosure should be completed this week. Striping is scheduled for the first week of October weather permitting.
Baker indicated the labor dispute that has prevented work on Business Loop I-69 in Branch County benefitted the Chandler Plaza Project as concrete contractors were redirected to the local parking lot project.
After considerable discussion, the council also passed a second resolution as part of the four part process to renew the Central Business District City Parking Lot Maintenance and Improvement Program.
On another project, Baker reported that work has been completed on the I-69 bridge over U.S. 12.
