STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school golf, Coldwater finished third out of eight teams Tuesday at the Sturgis Invitational, which was held at the Island Hills Golf Course. Marshall won the event with a score of 349 followed by St. Joseph which shot 362 and Coldwater at 374.
Coldwater was led by Jayla Goodwin who shot an 83 which was good enough for third place overall and Taylor Musselman who ended up ninth with a round of 91. Claire Sheppard shot a 92, Kelly Warner had a 107 and Elloree Madden rounded out Coldwater’s scoring with a 113.
Coldwater will be playing for the Interstate 8 Conference championship Thursday with Coldwater and Marshall both tied for 1st place at this time.
