COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police and Coldwater Police have confirmed that two teenage girls who were reported to be juvenile runaways were found safe and sound Thursday morning on the east side of Coldwater.
Nikkie Lee-Ann Fields and Katie Watters were found about 24 hours after the State Police and Coldwater Police announced they were missing.
Fields took the bus home from Coldwater High School following classes Monday and did not attend classes Tuesday.
Her sister said on Facebook Thursday morning that their father found Fields and Watters.
News of the missing girls generated a lot of social media traffic.
The posting of the information on our Facebook page led to over 1,700 shares.
