COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school golf, Coldwater defeated Sturgis 189-217 Tuesday evening at the Coldwater Golf Course in a Purple Week match which honored cancer victims and survivors.
Leading the way for Coldwater was Claire Sheppard with a 40, Molly Smith shot a 48, Kelly Warner had a 50, Elloree Madden carded a 51, Taylor Musselman shot a 52 and Jayla Goodwin rounded out Coldwater’s scoring with a 53.
In JV action Coldwater’s Morgan Beckhusen was medalist, shooting a 50 in their match with Sturgis.
