QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Village Council is scheduled Tuesday night to adopt a resolution which will create the $5,000 application fee for licensing medical marijuana manufacturing facilities in the village.
If it is adopted, Village Manager Eric Zuzga says he will have the applications starting November 1, 2018.
Applications will be accepted two weeks later starting at 10:00 a.m. on November 15.
The resolution scheduled for adoption would not only set the fees, it would also approve a Village policy and approve the application process for medical marijuana manufacturing faciity licenses in the Village.
The Village Council approved two ordinances last month which permitted the authorization of licenses. It came after over a year of debate which left the council and village residents divided.
