COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The price of gasoline in Michigan is down by double-digits in the latest AAA Michigan Fuel Gauge Survey.
The auto club reports, on average, gasoline prices fell by 12-cents compared to last week, to an average statewide of $2.88 per gallon. The price of fuel was steadily dropping last week in response to the stock market fall.
The web site www.gasbuddy.com says prices around Coldwater on Monday were ranging from $2.63 to $2.69 a gallon.
Experts believe gasoline prices will continue to fall, but may increase when sanctions against Iranian crude oil are imposed.
