BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Voters in the Bronson School District will get a chance to meet the four candidates running for the two open positions on the Bronson School Board Thursday, October 25 at the Chicago Street School.
Any questions about the new sinking fund proposal on the November ballot will also be addressed during the gathering which will start at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
The four candidates are Deb Balowski, Dennis Sikorski, Jon Britten and Brenda Kelly.
Bronson voters approved a two mill sinking fund in 2014 to pay for building repairs and improvements. School officials say the new sinking fund is not an increase in the tax collected but will allow the district to widen the scope to include security and technology upgrades.
