COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Quincy man who entered no contest pleas to a pair of attempted aggravated indecent exposure charges during a preliminary exam last month in Branch County District Court was ordered to serve one year in jail Monday.
52-year-old Alan James Jester was charged in connection with incidents in the Meijer and Walmart parking lots in which he was accused of exposing himself to women.
Jester was arrested following a Coldwater Police Department investigation. Police got a break in the case when a woman in the Walmart parking lot took pictures of the suspect and then called authorities.
Before that there had been warnings on social media about a man who would park next to vehicles driven by women and then expose himself.
Jester was arrested August 19, 2018. He was given credit for 58 days already served.
