COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – 7th District Congressman Tim Walberg and District Director of Operations Dustin Krasny paid a visit to the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce early Friday afternoon for an open round table discussion.
Topics included the need for skilled trades workers, job retention, public transportation, preservation of the great Lakes, and many more were discussed.
According to Chamber Exceutive Director Cayden Sparks, Walberg gave great insight on those issues, and detailed th his experiences on working side-by-side with President Donald Trump.
Chamber member attendees of the round table discussion included Paula DeJongh (All Things Serenity, LLC), Keith Baker (City of Coldwater), Audrey Tappenden (City of Coldwater), Debra Yee (Coldwater Country Conference and Visitors Bureau), Phyllis Denbrock (Denbrock Insurance Agency), Gregory Moore (Consumers Energy), Randy DeGroot (ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital), Kathy Alger (Coach Eby Youth and Family Center), Katie de Araujo (Coach Eby Youth and Family Center), Kim Hemker (Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence), and Steve Covell (Gordon’s Culligan Water Conditioning).
While in Coldwater Friday, Walberg also toured the operations of Sport Truck USA.
