ALLEN, MI (WTVB) – A Jonesville man was killed Tuesday afternoon when a pair of semis collided head on north of Allen.
Michigan State Police say 74-year-old Michael Fink was heading south on M-49 when his semi went out of control and crashed into a northbound semi driven by a 62-year-old man from Litchfield. Fink was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was treated and released from Hillsdale Community Hospital.
The crash shut down M-49 between U.S. 12 and Jonesville Road until almost 5:00 a.m. this morning. The accident is still under investigation.
