COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The first snowfall of the winter arrived last Friday just as the road construction season was wrapping up in Michigan.
After a two month delay which included a labor dispute, the Business Loop I-69 repaving project got underway during the week of October 22nd and Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker reported to the City Council on Monday night the project is nearly complete.
The project has included the repaving of the surface from the Fenn Road exit off of I-69 to Pierce Street in downtown Coldwater.
He says work will continue this week as crews will be adjusting and raising manhole covers. They will also take care of the remaining pavement markings and eventually remove of all of the traffic control devises.
