WHEATLAND TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department has released the identities of a woman who died in a house fire last Thursday and of a man who had to be taken to University of Michigan Hospital for treatment of severe injuries.
The fatal victim of the fire at 11200 Church Road has been identified as 65-year-old Rose Anne Monroe, who was found dead by firefighters.
59-year-old Ronald Morrison Monroe was taken to U of M Hospital. He has since been released.
The incident is still under investigation by the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office and the Michigan State Police Fire Marshal Division.
