COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School boys eighth grade A and B teams have combined together for the remainder of the year forming one team. Coldwater lost on the last shot of the game to Marshall 37-36 at Marshall Monday night. Leading the Cardinals in scoring was Garret Johns with 13 points. Chase Sunderland had 11 points.
The Legg Middle School seventh grade A team lost to Marshall 43-28 as their record dropped to 3-3. Grant Carter led Legg with 10 points. Carter and Sal Barone both had six rebounds while Jack Ruden had two steals.
The Legg seventh grade B team lost 28-14 at home to Marshall. Sam Larr had four points while Khirallah Ahmed and Kyle Litwiller both had three points. Nabil Saeed snared 13 rebounds.
