UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Union City Chamber of Commerce hosted its Santa Parade last Saturday night which wrapped up a day full of holiday activities that were tied into Small Business Saturday.
The Float Contest was sponsored by Doctor Matthew Christopher & Associates Dental Office. They won the first prize of $100 which they donated back to the Union City Christmas Basket.
The Turtle Island Twisted Snowmobilers took second place and won $75 while the United Methodists Church won the third prize of $50.
The Window Decorating Contest was won by State Farm Insurance. They won a $25 gift certificate to Jack’s Grocery and a $25 gift certificate to Merchant’s Hardware. Hometown Gazette took the second prize of a $25 gift certificate to Antique Salvage with a Special Mention going to New Leaf Floral.
