QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – A trustee position has opened up on the Quincy Board of Education following the resignation of Jennifer Wortz.
Quincy Superintendent Marc Kramer says she submitted her resignation in writing last Friday citing personal reasons.
Whoever is appointed will fill out her term which expires in November 2020.
Any interested candidate must be a qualified voter in the Quincy Community School District.
Potential candidates are asked to provide Kramer with a letter of interest and qualifications by 4:00 p.m. next Thursday, December 13, 2018.
Letters should be sent to Kramer at the Quincy school administration offices at One Educational Parkway, Quincy, 49082.
Interviews will be conducted and the appointment of the new board member will be made during the next Quincy School Board meeting on December 17th. Perspective candidates are asked to be in attendance for possible interviews by the board that night.
