COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School eighth grade boys basketball team won their third straight game as they defeated Parma Western 47-35 Wednesday. Hunter Munson led Legg with 16 points.
The Legg seventh teams split. The A team defeated previously unbeaten Parma Western 52-46. Zach Coffing led Legg with 25 points and 13 rebounds. The B team lost to Parma Western 33-21. Hugo Mojica led Legg with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Union City swept Bronson in middle school basketball. The Chargers won the eighth grade game 30-27 and the seventh grade contest 46-39. Leading scorers for Bronson were eighth grader Aden Hathaway with seven points and seventh grader Miles Losinski with 14 points.
