QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – There was a house fire last night in Branch County south of Quincy. According to Branch County 911 Central Dispatch, the alarm for the fire in Algansee Township came in shortly after 6:30 p.m. when the person living at 841 Teal Drive called 911 to report there was smoke in the structure located near the southwest side of Marble Lake.
The Quincy Fire Department Facebook page said they responded to a small electrical fire in a dwelling on Teal Drive and that there were no injuries. Central Dispatch said they were told by firemen the blaze was in a wall.
There was no word on a damage estimate. The fire department was on the scene for an hour and a half.
