COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker reported to the City Council on Monday night that the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities has received resolutions of special recognition for providing mutual aid to storm struck areas.
The first was in September 2017 for communities in Florida who were impacted by Hurricane Irma.
The second one came last March when electrical emergencies took place in New York State following a winter storm.
Baker said in both cases, employees traveled to the affected area to provide mutual aid for electric system restoration.
