ORCHARD PARK, NY (WTVB) – Josh Allen’s fourth quarter 42-yard touchdown pass to Robert Foster lifted the Buffalo Bills to a 14-13 home victory over the Detroit Lions. Allen threw for 204 yards and ran three yards for a second quarter touchdown. Foster caught four passes for 108 yards.
Buffalo ended a two-game skid and are 5-and-9.
Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 22 of 29 passes for 208 yards and a touchdown. Rookie Kenny Golladay caught seven pases for 146 yards in defeat.
Matt Prater missed a 48-yard field with 5:55 left for the Lions, who fell to 5-and-9 and were eliminated from playoff contention. The Lions also missed their first point-after-touchdown attempt.
The Chicago Bears are NFC North Champions. Chicago clinched the division with a 24-17 victory over the rival Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field. Mitchell Trubisky threw a pair of touchdown passes and Khalil Mack recorded two-and-a-half sacks in the win. The Bears improved to 10-and-4 and won their first NFC North title since 2010.
Dalvin Cook ran for 136 yards and two touchdowns as the Vikings blasted the Dolphins 41-17 at US Bank Stadium. At 7-6-and-1, Minnesota still holds the second NFC Wild Card with two games left. The Vikes visit Detroit this Sunday.
In Sunday Night Football, Nick Foles started in place of the injured Carson Wentz and led the Eagles to a 30-23 win over the Rams in L.A.. Foles threw for 270 yards in his first action since Week Two. Wendell Smallwood rushed for a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter as the Eagles opened a 17-point lead. Josh Adams also ran for a score as the Eagles kept their playoff hopes alive.
