BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police say a driver from Union City was injured yesterday morning shortly before 8:00 a.m. in a pickup truck crash in Branch County’s Batavia Township.
According to troopers, 25-year old Luke Rabe lost control of his Ford F-350 on an icy stretch of M-86 near Wheeler Road and slid off the pavement, striking two cement pillars. State Police said Rabe was taken by private vehicle to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital for treatment.
The Bronson Fire Department was also called to the scene. Troopers said Rabe was given a ticket for driving too fast for the road conditions.
