HOMER, MI (WTVB) – A 54-year-old Tekonsha man was arrested by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department Monday following a brief chase.
The Sheriff’s Department says one of their deputies tried to stop the suspect for an equipment violation in the village of Homer.
The driver failed to stop and fled from the Deputy.
After a brief pursuit, the vehicle came to a stop and the suspect was arrested for Fleeing and Eluding, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and possession of methamphetamemes.
The name of the suspect is being withheld pending arraignment.
The Albion Department of Public Safety and an off duty corrections officer from the Michigan Department of Corrections assisted the Sheriff’s Office.
