BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school basketball, the Bronson Vikings could not recover from a 13-5 second quarter as they lost to the Colon Magi 52-46 Wednesday night on the Vikings home floor. Colon took a 22-15 halftime lead thanks to their second quarter performance and Bronson could not recover as their record fell to 1-5.
Hudson Wotta led the Vikings with 24 points as he was 11-of-19 from the floor. Wotta, Connor Covey, Brett Sikorski and Graham Eley all grabbed six rebounds. But Bronson struggled offensively as they only shot 33 percent from the floor, which included being two-of-16 from beyond the arc.
The Vikings also had a tough night at the foul line making six-of-13 free throws.
Austin Stoll had a game-high 26 points for the Magi.
