COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Earlier this month, the Branch Area Careers Center (BACC) FFA chapter received a donation of $1,500 from Ceres Solutions and Land O’ Lakes to support chapter activities.
The donation was presented to the classroom by Andy AcMoody, the regional sales manager of the Ceres Solutions Coldwater location. Mr. AcMoody said, “I was very impressed with the leadership of BACC FFA students. Ceres Solutions and Land O’ Lakes are happy to support your program of future Ag leaders”.
The BACC FFA will use the funds for various activities and leadership training such as FFA State Convention, National Convention, and upgrading equipment in the program greenhouse.
Ceres Solutions and Land O’ Lakes donate to 4-H clubs and FFA chapters all over the Midwest, and this year they chose to donate to the BACC FFA.
According to Megan Wolle, Land O’ Lakes community relations and foundation manager, “Land O’ Lakes Foundation is pleased to match donations by member cooperatives which help enhance the quality of life in their local communities. We are pleased to support your organization and send our best wishes for your success.”
