QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – A young couple has moved into their new home on Richard Street in Quincy thanks to Habitat for Humanity of Branch County.
Monique and Albert Islami closed on the three bedroom Habitat home on December 28, 2018 and were later given the keys to the home. The Islamis moved in the following day.
Nearly a dozen contractors and many volunteers worked on the home starting in 2016. The Islami’s contributed 250 hours of what Habitat officials call sweat equity on the home.
Habitat for Humanity of Branch County were planning to close on a home on Charles Street in Coldwater sometime this week.
