THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – In high schiool wrestling, Coldwater went 4-1 and finished second at the Three Rivers Super Duals Saturday. The Cardinals defeated Niles Brandywine (47-29), Three Rivers (57-18), Lawton (46-27) and Constantine (56-15) but lost to Hart (29-40).
Six Cardinals won all five of their matches. They were Hashed Abdullah (103), Marshall Hoard (112), Carter Hoard (140), Matt Gipple (160), Griffin Olmstead (171) and Dillon Minton (285).
An understaffed Union City Charger Wrestling team traveled to Parma Western Saturday and placed third out of six teams. The Chargers defeated Whitmore Lake (42-6), Homer (42-18) and Olivet on the fourth tiebreaking criteria (36-36). Union City lost to Charlotte (33-39) and Parma Western (9-61)

Bronson’s J.V. squad competed in an invitational at Three Rivers Friday. Four Vikings went 3-0. They were Creo Smith, Logan Fletcher, Alberto Caballero and Brady Long. B.J. Post and Ian Murphy went 2-1.
