COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker said during Monday’s City Council meeting that the city will be conducting an additional curbside leaf pickup in April to help with the spring yard clean up.
This is being done because not everyone was able to get their leaves out to the street for pick up last fall when the weather was poor.
Baker says there will only be one leaf pickup and the dates will be announced at the beginning of April depending upon the weather. Until then, yard waste can be bagged in paper bags for pick up. Residents are asked not to rake leaves into the street until a pickup announcement is made.
Meanwhile, Baker also announced the hiring of Officer Brian Regan to the Coldwater Police Department. Regan is a current Coldwater resident. He is scheduled to begin next Monday and will be introduced at the January 28, 2019 City Council meeting.
